HART Pantry is looking for Volunteers for the following positions:
Board Members- HART Pantry is looking for some fresh ideas. Meetings are once monthly and all kinds of previous experience can be useful. All are welcome!
Office Staff - We need volunteers to man our office (location is Olive Ave. & 99th Ave in Peoria) on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 9am-12pm. You can work just one of those days, or all three, and the hours are flexible. You will be answering phones, routing information from phone calls to other volunteers, and sometimes taking in deliveries. If you know your way around a computer and email, that would be a bonus for us!
FaceBook Poster- HART needs a person that can take pictures and information given by other volunteers and make posts on HART’s FaceBook page. Once a week posts and posts for special events would be sufficient.
Bicycle Person- HART needs a person who can pick up donated used bikes, replace tires & tubes and such to get them into working condition, and deliver them to our storage locker.
Approximately 30 or so bikes per year. If you are interested in any of these volunteer opportunities, please fill out a volunteer form (below) and our Volunteer Coordinator, Carol Speiglehoff, will get in touch with you. Thank you for considering doing something positive to help your community!
Drivers Needed!
Drivers for HART Pantry are urgently needed on Thursdays, from 8:30 - 11:30 am. Drivers must have a truck or other large vehicle to transport filled food bags to local high schools. Please fill out the Volunteer Forms below and return to Volunteer Coordination, Carol Speiglehoff, if interested.
