Supporting Teens in Crisis
HART Pantry's core mission revolves around providing essential weekend food bags and Nutritious Supper Bags to homeless or unsupported teens. When these vulnerable teens face the chilling reality of being displaced from their homes, we strive to keep them connected to education by offering basic clothing, toiletries, school supplies, and refurbished bikes to facilitate their school attendance and work prospects.
Extending a Helping Hand
We stand by these teenagers, ensuring they recognize they are not alone. Our aim is to guide them through graduation, employment, or job training, instilling a sense of support and security. Our dedication to these teens not only benefits them, but society at large. Collaborating with local community partners, churches, and school counselors, we identify eligible teens and cater to their individual needs.
Holistic Assistance
Beyond the provision of weekend food bags containing high-protein, single-serving, and easily accessible items, we go the extra mile. When possible, we include fresh bread and fruit. Additionally, our Back-to-School programs aim to enhance confidence and a sense of belonging for At-Risk Teens in educational environments. HART Pantry prioritizes responding to all school counselor requests for At-Risk Teens, ensuring comprehensive support.
